You open the tracker and see one number. You open the wallet and see another. The first thought is "we have been scammed" or "the wallet is broken". Usually what is broken is the comparison: you were counting different things.

Below are the gaps we see over and over when people reconcile Crypto360 against what their browser extension shows.

Spam that looks like money

Tokens land on your address with the ticker USDT, the name of a famous protocol and a price "just like the market". There is no liquidity behind them. Add everything blindly and the portfolio can jump tenfold overnight.

The wallet often shows that token too — you just mentally throw it away. A tracker without a filter cannot throw anything away. Sane behaviour: hide the junk, keep it out of the total, keep it in the database (maybe it is not junk and you bought that thin altcoin yourself).

If a token you consider real has "disappeared", first check its liquidity and the size of your position relative to the pool. A large stablecoin with a zero price in the API response is a different bug: that is not an empty wallet, that is a hole in the quote. You fix that by carrying the price forward, not by weakening the filter.

A different chain, a different chunk

The extension often shows the one chain you selected. The tracker shows every chain of that address. Or the other way round: the tracker never asked for TON or Solana and you are looking at those in a separate app.

Reconcile per chain, not on the grand total. Ethereum matches but BNB does not — go look for the hole there, not in the product philosophy.

DeFi and the receipt in your wallet

You supplied liquidity: the wallet holds an LP receipt token, the DeFi tab holds the position. That is the same money. Adding both sources is the classic inflated total. How we cut that, separately: DeFi without double-counting.

NFTs, gifts, skins

The wallet showed only tokens. The tracker added NFTs at the collection floor price, gifts and CS2. The number is bigger — and that is not an error if you agree those are assets. The number is smaller — possibly because we deliberately do not value NFTs with no market.

One rule: compare the same set. Either coins only, or all digital property. Otherwise the argument about the total never ends.

Assembling the same set is easier in one place — open Crypto360 and walk through the chains instead of ten browser tabs.
