On X it is cheap to stand up @Uniswap_Help with the same avatar. A checkmark is no longer proof: people buy it. A link in a reply under the protocol's tweet is the most common door into a fake Uniswap.

The picture is a diagram. In life the difference is often one character: 1 instead of l, an extra _support.

Where to get the handle if not from search

  1. The site you already checked (a bookmark). Header or footer has an X icon. Open it, remember the handle, save it.
  2. The protocol card on DefiLlama: the Twitter field goes to the same place.
  3. Only then search on X, and only to match letters against what you already have.

Not the other way around: do not search “Uniswap twitter”, do not tap the first promo.

What to look at in the profile

  • The handle character by character: @Uniswap is not @Unlswap is not @Uniswap_Help.
  • The website in the profile header matches the domain from your bookmark (app.uniswap.org, jup.ag, metamask.io).
  • The pinned tweet points at that same domain, not connect-wallet-airdrop.
  • Replies under the thread are strangers. Do not open links from there.
